Exchangeable image file format (EXIF) is a specification for the image file meta data used by digital cameras and gallery software. The EXIF specification was created by the created by the Japan Electronic Industry Development Association (JEIDA). Most digital cameras fill in the JPEG EXIF information with tags for he date and time, camera model, shutter speed and the like.
Application software like Exifer can be be used to add a EXIF image description tag to the image. The advantage of adding a description to the image’s EXIF information is the description is part of the image file itself, rather than a separate text file or database the must be correlated with the image file. ÂÂ
Gallery software like Gallery2 and Jalbum can be configured to read the EXIF information, and display it along side the image.  Gallery2 can use the ImageDescription tag to populate the image caption field in the database. So importing images with populated EXIF ImageDescription tags into Gallery will automatically populate the Gallery 2 database with the image description.ÂÂ
The ideal is to enter the image description one time, store it in the image’s EXIF ImageDescription tag, and use gallery software that extracts and displays EXIF ImageDescription tag.

Mardern Marvel: Cotton
Cotton production in the United states is lead by Texas with California in second.
Cotton is a hollow fibre, which makes it a good insulator, and good liquid absorber.
Cotton was first made into cloth more that 5000 years ago in India. Cotten was one of the reasons why England conquered india, and baned the processing of cotton in India.
“India’s texttile tradition has fiven the english language the words pajama, dungaree, seersucker, calico, madras, and khaki.”
In 1793, Eli Whitney, a yankee who graduated from Yale, invented the cotten gin. Gin is short for engine. The cotten gin is used to separate the cotton fibre from the cotten seeds. The cotton gin increased cotton production by 50 times. In 1860, cotton represented over 60% of total US experts.

Little Miss Sunshine is the funniest movie I have seen in a long time. The plot revolves around a road trip to California to participate in The Little Miss Sunshine contest, which is basically a beauty contest for girls around age 8.Â
Along the way, a problem develops with the transmission in the Volkswagen Mini-bus, and they are only able to use 3rd and 4th gears. As a result, they have to push the bus or park on a hill so they can get it up speed and get it into 3rd gear.Later in the trip, the horn sticks on the yellow mini-bus, and makes a persistent noise similar to a bumble bee.
In the spirit of National Lampoon’s vacation, the grandpa dies, and is stuffed in the trunk to avoid the delay associated with filling out the paperwork.

The Wordpress Galery2 (WPG2) Plugin provides integration between Wordpress and Galery2. The main feature I am after is a single login for both Wordpress and Gallery2, and a single place to administer users.
I am running the following versions:
- Wordpress 2.0.3
- Galery 2.1.1
- WPG2 Plugin
WPG2 File Installation Instructions:
- Unzip the files.
- FTP the file “wp-gallery2.php” to your WordPress root directory. This is the directory that contains wp-config.php. Under a default WordPress installation it is /wordpress/.
- FTP the “wp-content/plugins/wpg2/” directory structure to a new folder called /wpg2/ in your WordPress plugins directory, /wordpress/wp-content/plugins/.
- FTP the “wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/g2image/” directory structure to a new folder called /g2image/ in your TinyMCE plugins directory, /wordpress/wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/.
- After everything is installed, force a reload (for FireFox) or a refresh (for IE) at the “Write Post” and/or “Write Page” admin pages. This forces the TinyMCE javascript to reload and display the button.
- See WPG2:Plug-in Configuration for activating and configuring the plugin.

The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach focuses on the following two points:
- Pay Yourself First
- Make it Automatic.
Pay yourself first is a principal described in several personal finance books including The Richest Man in Babylon. Â The principal is simply to contribute to your long term savings before you spend money on anything else, including taxes. Â The Automatic Millionaire focuses on automatic 401k contributions.
Make it automatic is a principal I have not seen as a primary focus in other personal finiance books. The idea is that you put the time into setting up automatic payrole deductions or automatic inventment contributions one time, and then you do not need to rely on yourself every month to take action to do the right thing.Â
A comparison is made to the governments use of “automatic” tax withholding, or corperate americas use of automatic credit card billing for checking account debits. One could argue that if the goverment relied on everyone to save up their tax liability and write a check at the end of the year, the government would not be able to collect as much in taxes. This argument is applied to savings. The idea is smaller, automatic contributions to savings will not be missed after a while, and you do not have to take any action once the automatic transaction is setup While people are less likly to actually follow through on making lump sum transfers to savings at the end of every year.Â
