The goal was to remove the big square in the back yard.
We removed the landscaping timbers, using a sawzaw to cut the nails and rebar.
We brought in the heavy equipment (6000 pound ASV RC-50 Skid Steer from Home Depot). We ended up with the RC-50 because the smaller skid steer (RC-30) had a dead battery. I am glad we got the big one
Using the RC-50 Skid Steer to re-grade the yard.
Later, we spread 10 cubic yards of top soil and orgrow compost mix over the clay (one wheelbarrow at a time) and sowed the grass seed.
The final result is nice and green.
