Hello, my name is Rich Barrett.
I started programming computers in 1982 and got my first programming job in 1986. I went on to receive degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I have worked with embedded systems, satellites, and tactical communications. I currently serve as Director of Engineering at a defense contractor in northern Virginia. In short, I am a geek.
In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing, racing cars, and just about anything that gets my adrenalin flowing.
